Events for June 2013


June is normally a quiet month for STEM conferences. But for those of us who aren't on sabatical for the summer, here's another short sampling of 50+ of the hundreds of conferences, educational events and public meetings for space science, technology, engineering and mathematics professionals occurring in June 2013.

Each event is sorted by date of occurrence:




  • The 2013 International SpaceWire Conference, bringing together space wire product designers, hardware engineers, software engineers, system developers and mission specialists interested in and working with the technology, will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden from June 11th - 13th.



  • The 2013 NASA Summer Rocket Workshop (RockOn2013), where where university students build, test and fly a science payload on a suborbital rocket to a 117.5-km altitude, will be held in Wallops Island, VA on June 20th.

  • The 25th Space Cryogenics Workshop focused on the discussion of cryogenics related to space missions, components, instrumentation and launch vehicle, will be held in Girdwood, AK from June 23rd - 25th.
