• A conference on Black Hole Growth in the Universe (Astro-GR), focused on astrophysical modelling of super- and massive black holes and their environment, will be held in Beijing, China from September 3rd - 7th.

• The 2012 Coqus Summer School: Quantum Physics Meets Gravity will be held in Vienna, Austria from September 3rd - 7th.

• The 12th Hvar Astrophysical Colloquium focused on the Sun and heliosphere, will be held in Hvar, Croatia from September 3rd - 7th.

• The 2012 International Conference on Science Communication will be held in Nancy, France from September 3rd - 7th. 

• The 4th International Specialized Symposium: Space and Global Security of the Humanity, organized by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA), will be held in Yevpatoria, Ukraine from September 3rd - 7th.

• The 2012 Meteorological Satellite Conference, organized by the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), will be held in Sopot, Poland from September 3rd - 7th.

• The 8th Conference on Planet Formation and Evolution, intended to stimulate interdisciplinary discussion between astronomy, astrobiology, planetary science, mineralogy, laboratory work, and other adjacent fields, will be held in München, Germany from September 3rd - 7th. 

• A Conference on the ESO@50, celebrating the first 50 years of the European Southern Observatory (ESO), will be held in Garching, Germany from September 3rd - 7th.

• The 2nd Conference on the Science with eROSITA and ART-XC, focused on the Spectrum-Roentgen-Gamma (Spectrum-RG) observatory expected to be launched in 2013, will be held in Kazan, Russia from September 3rd - 7th.

• The 2012 Spanish Relativity Meeting in Portugal, supported by the Spanish Society of Gravitation and Relativity (SEGRE) will be held in Guimaraes, Portugal from September 3rd - 7th.

• A Conference on Remote Sensing of Global Water Circulation and Climate Change will be held in Beijing, China from September 3rd - 14th.

• The 2012 International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Automation in Space (iSAIRAS 2012), organized by Congrex, the professional conference organizer for the European Space Agency (ESA), will be held in Turin, Italy from September 4th - 6th.

• The 6th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference and the 12th Signal Processing for Space Communications Workshop (ASMS/SPSC) will be held in Baiona, Spain from September 5th - 7th.

• The 4th Specialized International Symposium on Space & Global Security of Humanity will be held in Evpatoria, Crimea from September 5th - 7th. 

• The 3rd Gaia Science Alerts workshop will be held in Bologna, Italy from September 6th - 7th. 

• IBC 2012, the premier annual conference and exhibition for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of electronic media and entertainment content worldwide, will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from September 6th - 11th. 

• The 67th Annual General Meeting of the British Interplanetary Society (BIS) will be held in London, UK on September 8th. 

• The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Satellite Communication Systems Course will be held in Guilford, UK from September 9th to September 14th.

• A Conference on 1970-2010 - The Golden Age of Solar System Exploration will be held in Rome, Italy from September 10th - 12th.

• The 9th Potsdam Thinkshop, focused on galaxy surveys using integral field spectroscopy: achievements and opportunities, will be held in Potsdam, Germany from September 10th - 13th. 

• The 5th Solar Orbiter Workshop, focused on the science questions addressed by upcoming Solar Orbiter mission will take place in Brugge, Belgium from September 10th - 13th. 

• A Workshop on the Magellanic Clouds, organized by the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), will be held in Perth, Australia from September 10th - 13th.

• World Satellite Business Week, bringing together over six hundred of the most influential representatives of the global satellite and Earth observation community, for five days of discussion, debate and deal-making, will be held in Paris, France from September 10th - 13th.

• The International Max Planck Research School for Astronomy and Cosmic Physics at the University of Heidelberg (IMPRS-HD) 2012 Summer School, focused on the topic of Computational Astrophysics - Physical Foundations & Numerical Techniques, will be held in Heidelberg, Germany from September 10th - 14th.

• The MPA/ESO/MPE/Excellence Cluster Universe Conference on Supernovae Illuminating the Universe - From Individuals to Populations will be held in Garching, Germany from September 10th - 14th. 

• The Multiverse and Fundamental Cosmology Conference (Multicosmofun'12) will be held in  Szczecin, Poland from September 10th - 14th.

• Summer School for Binary Stars, organized by the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Leuven, will be held in  Leuven, Belgium from September 10th - 15th.

• The 10th Observing School organized by the Network of European Observatories in the North (NEON) will be held in Asiago, Italy from September 10th - 22nd. 

• The 2012 Heavy-Duty Diesel Emissions Control Symposium , organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden from September 11th - 12th.

• The Applied Technology Institute (ATI) course on Satellite Communications Design and Engineering will be held in Columbia, MD from September 11th - 13th. 

• The Complex Aerospace Systems Exchange, organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), will be held in Pasadena, CA from September 11th - 13th.  

• The Space 2012 Conference & Exposition, organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), will be held in Pasadena, CA from September 11th - 13th.

• The Advanced Maui Optical and Space Surveillance Technologies Conference (AMOS Tech), organized by the Maui Economic Development Board, will be held in Kihei, HI.from Sept 11th - 14th.

• The Applied Technology Institute (ATI) course on Orbital Mechanics: Ideas & Insights will be held in Manhattan Beach, CA from September 11th - 14th. 

• The 2012 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) International Topical Meeting on Microwave Photonics, organized by Congrex, the professional conference organizer for the European Space Agency (ESA) will be held in the Noordwijk, The Netherlands from September 11th - 14th.

• A workshop on the Physics of de Sitter Spacetime will be held in Hannover, Germany from September 11th - 14th.

• The ILA International Air and Space Show, with 1,153 exhibitors from 47 countries and considered one of the world’s largest aerospace trade shows, will be held in Berlin, Germany from September 11th - 16th.

• The 2012 conference on Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT2012), organized by COMSYS, the specialized telecommunications consultancy and focused on Ka-band spot-beam capacity, will be held in London, UK form September 12th - 14th.

• The 2012 Emission Control from Large Ships Symposium, organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden from September 13th - 14th.

•  A conference on the Origins of the Expanding Universe: 1912-1932, focused on the contributions of Vesto Melvin Slipher and timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the first measured Doppler shift, will be held in Flagstaff, AZ from September 13th - 15th. 

• A seminar on The Challenge of Mars Exploration, part of the  part of the 2012 von Karman Lecture Series, will be held in Pasadena, CA, from June 21st and repeated on September 13th and repeated on September 14th.  

• The 100 Year Starship® 2012 Public Symposium, focused on “Transition to Transformation … The Journey Begins,”will be held in Houston, TX from September 13th - 16th.

• The 10th Annual Great Lakes Star Gaze Star Party will be held in Gladwin, MI from September 13th - 16th. 

• The Iowa Star Party will be held in Coon Rapids, IA from September 13th - 16th.

• The 42nd International Symposium On Multiparticle Dynamics (ISMD 2012) will be held in Kielce, Poland from September 16th - 21st.

• The 13th Annual Aviation Industry Suppliers Conference will be  held in Toulouse, France from September 17th - 19th.
